Pro Bono Communications Day: May 29, 2026
During the Pro Bono Communication Day on Friday, May 29, marketing and communication specialists will spend the day working on a communication challenge for a nonprofit organization.
We bring together the needs of nonprofit organizations and the expertise of corporate volunteers. This ensures that their knowledge and experience are put to use exactly where communication expertise is most needed. At the end of the day, the organization leaves with concrete solutions that can be implemented immediately, enabling them to continue building strong and effective communication strategies on their own.
Event details
Date: Friday, May 29,
Time: 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Location: High Tech Campus Conference Center
"What an atmosphere ... you all step into a creative pressure cooker. Ideas fly across the table and come together, choices are made quickly but thoughtfully, everyone instinctively grabs their role, and suddenly you notice: we're making something really fat. No consultation marathons, no noise but professional idiocy, energy and a shared focus."
- Youri Jozee, participant pro bono communications day November 2025
As part of a small team of marketing and communications specialists (approximately 6 to 8 people, ranging from copywriters to creatives, strategists to SEO specialists), you’ll work on a specific communications challenge for a local nonprofit organization. Just as in previous editions, you’ll contribute your knowledge and experience, while the organization brings its subject-matter expertise and challenge. Together, you’ll explore new possibilities and devise solutions that will truly help the organization move forward.
Why participate?
✔ Collaborate with social organizations and other professionals on current communication challenges,
✔ Experience an inspiring and energetic day where you put your expertise to work for others,
✔ Discover how your knowledge and experience can make a direct social impact
For civil society organisations
What an opportunity for your non-profit organization: you will work with a team of driven marketing and communications specialists. They are happy to volunteer their knowledge (and passion) for your social organization. Experience shows that it is really useful in practice.
Previous editions have demonstrated what is possible. For example, a team developed a creative campaign for Kledingbank Eindhoven that tells their story even more powerfully. Rechterhanden received a fresh, new look and feel for its website. And for Mantelzorg Verlicht, a complete communication toolkit was put together, including design, copy, an implementation plan, and practical tips.
